Flooding is possible - be prepared
Rain is forecast to affect London late on Wednesday 13 November and on Thursday 14 November. If the heaviest rain affects the Hatch End, Pinner, Ruislip, Ickenham, Hillingdon, or Uxbridge areas there is a possibility that rivers could overtop their banks. Flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside gardens is possible from early morning on Thursday 14 November. Surface water flooding may also affect these areas. Please monitor local water levels and weather conditions and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. We are closely monitoring rainfall and river levels and will issue flood warnings if needed. Our incident response staff are checking and clearing any blockages from rivers. This message will be updated by 10:00 on Thursday 14 November, or as the situation changes.
