for Flood alert in force now River Thames and its small tributaries from Calcutt to Lechlade

Flooding is possible - be prepared

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high but very slowly falling in the Hannington Wick area following rainfall over the last week. Flooding of low lying roads and farmland is expected to continue while the river is out of banks. The forecast is mostly dry overnight and tomorrow (20/11/19). We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 20/11/2019, or as the situation changes.
