Flooding is possible - be prepared

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels on the River Evenlode have fallen. River levels on the River Glyme in the Woodstock area are still continuing to fall slowly. Therefore, flooding of roads, footpaths and low lying land is expected to continue over the weekend. The weather forecast (24/01/20) is dry and cloudy for overnight and tomorrow . There are currently showers forecast for Sunday (26/01/20) and rain Monday. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 25/01/20, or as the situation changes.
