Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now River Arrow in Herefordshire

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels are forecast to continue rising at the Titley Mill river gauge as a result of Storm Christoph. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads along the River Arrow from Michaelchurch to Brierley. Other areas that may be affected include Kington, Staunton and Eardisland. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and roads near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 9am tomorrow morning, 21/01/21, or as the situation changes.
