Flooding is possible - be prepared
River levels are high but steady at the Ford Bridge and Lugwardine river gauges as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding continues. Flooding is affecting low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days which may cause a renewed rise in river levels at Butts Bridge to flood alert threshold. We are closely monitoring the situation. We expect river levels to remain high over the weekend and into next week. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 4pm Friday 21/02/20, or as the situation changes.
