Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels are high but steady at the Lugwardine river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Flooding is affecting Low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop. No further rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 5pm on Monday 18/11/2019 or as the situation changes.
