Flooding is possible - be prepared
River levels continue to remain high at the Lugwardine river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Flooding is affecting Low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop. No further rainfall is forecast over the next couple of days. We expect river levels to remain high for at least the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 5 pm on Monday 20/01/20 or as the situation changes.
