Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels are high at the Ludlow (Corve) river gauge and high but falling at the Leintwardine and Onibury river gauges. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland continues. Flooding is affecting low lying land and Roads adjacent the River Teme, River Onny and River Corve and their tributaries. Locations that may be affected include Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Knighton and Ludlow. No further rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and roads near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 5pm on Monday 18/11/2019, or as the situation changes.
