Flooding is expected - immediate action required
River levels are high but steady at the Mythe Bridge river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue. Flooding may affect properties and roads in and around Bushley. River levels are currently peaking at the Mythe Bridge between 4.4 and 4.5m. Further rainfall is forecast on Friday and Saturday, and we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying land near rivers and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 10am on Friday, 28/02/20, or as the situation changes.
