for Flood warning in force now English River Dee at Farndon

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

The Severe Flood Warning for English River Dee at Farndon is no longer in force and has been downgraded to a Flood Warning. River levels are continuing to drop slowly at Farndon on the River Dee. While the risk to life is reduced, flooding for land and properties in Farndon remains possible today, Monday 25th January. River levels remain high and as a result, we're expecting Townfield lane to be cut off until Tuesday 26th January. Further showers are forecast over the next 48 hours but it is not expected that river levels will rise significantly. Emergency responders and our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will update flood warnings as necessary. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation. This message will be updated tomorrow, Tuesday 26/01/2021 or as the situation changes.
