for Flood warning in force now River Don at Fishlake

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

This Severe Flood Warning has been downgraded to a Flood Warning as the risk to life has passed and the risk of further flooding is reducing. Please do not return home: access roads remain closed as efforts continue to make the area safe. The emergency services will advise when it is safe to return and will support the council to offer humanitarian aid. River levels are dropping, however standing water may remain for several days, with continued impacts to properties and access routes. A further band of rain is forecast for evening/overnight on Thursday 14 November and we are monitoring this closely. We continue to support the coordinated 24/7 multi‐agency response, with staff increasing pumping operations today. For advice and information call Floodline 03459881188 or Doncaster Council 01302735688. This message will be updated by 09:40 or as the situation changes.
