for Flood warning in force now River Don at Kirk Bramwith

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

This Severe Flood Warning has now been downgraded to a Flood Warning as the risk to life has passed and the risk of further flooding is reducing. River levels are dropping, however standing water may remain for the next few days and we expect this to result in continued impacts to properties and access routes. A further band of rain is forecast for evening/overnight on Thursday 14 November and we are monitoring this closely. We continue to support the coordinated multi‐agency response and our incident room remains open. We have deployed pumps, people and equipment. Please do not walk or drive through floodwater. Flood water is dangerous and may be polluted, or carrying debris. For advice and information please call Floodline 0345 988 1188 or the Doncaster Council hotline 01302 735 688. This message will be updated by 01:35, 14/11/2019, or as the situation changes.
