for Flood alert in force now South East Holderness

Flooding is possible - be prepared

This flood alert remains in force due to high levels on Winestead Drain following heavy rainfall last week. Levels on Winestead Drain are likely to remain elevated for the next few days in response to high tides and further bands of rain that have crossed the area on Thursday. Further showers are forecast into Friday, 15/11/19. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid driving through any floodwater. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation from the incident room. We have operational staff operating pumps and clearing trash screens. This message will be updated on Friday morning, or as the situation changes. See the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast.
