for Flood alert in force now West Somerset Streams

Flooding is possible - be prepared

This flood alert is being issued on a rainfall forecast. We are expecting a band of frontal rain in the early hours of Tuesday morning, which may cause rivers to respond as catchments are already very wet following recent rainfall. River levels on the Hawkcombe Stream at Porlock, Horner Water at West Luccombe, River Aller at Allerford, Washford River at Beggearn Huish, Monksilver Stream at Williton, Doniford Stream at Sampford Brett and Doniford Stream at Doniford are stable, but are expected to rise in the early hours of Tuesday morning in response to the forecast rainfall.
