Flooding is possible - be prepared

Flood alert for Cut

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the Cut as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected this evening and overnight, 28/03/24, especially in the Bray area. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours, which may be locally intense. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. We are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels, and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 29/03/24, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: Cut including Brockhill, Warfield, Bracknell, Paley Street and Holyport.
