Flooding is possible - be prepared
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high but have started to fall slowly on the River Thames and its tributaries at Oxford. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue for the next few days. The weather forecast (23/01/20) for today and tomorrow is for cloud with the chance of some drizzle. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are operating weirs to reduce flood risk. Please refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated this evening, 23/01/20, or as the situation changes.
