for Flood alert in force now River Thame and Chalgrove Brook

Flooding is possible - be prepared

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are still high but are continuing to fall on the River Thame. Levels should continue to fall for the next few days. Flooding of low lying roads, footpaths and land is expected to continue particularly in the Thame Bridge, Stadhampton and Dorchester areas. The weather forecast (23/01/20) for today and tomorrow is for cloud with the chance of some drizzle. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated this evening, 23/01/20, or as the situation changes.
