Flooding is possible - be prepared
We have seen heavy and persistent rainfall in the Minor Watercourses in North Kesteven area over the last few days. More rain forecast to fall on Monday 14 October and into Tuesday. This means that watercourses in the area remain high, and will lead to continued flooding of nearby low lying land and roads over the next few days. We are monitoring river levels, and have staff in the field checking for blockages and clearing weedscreens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated 15 October or as the situation changes.
