Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now North West Norfolk Rivers

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels remain high at the Castle Rising river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland remains possible today.  We expect flooding to affect Heacham River, The Ingol, Babingley River and Gaywood River. No significant rainfall is forecast over the weekend and we expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated this afternoon, Friday 22 January, or as the situation changes.
