Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now Upper River Great Ouse in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels are continuing to fall at the Brackley river gauge, but remain high downstream following recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is still possible. We expect flooding to affect River Great Ouse from Brackley to Haversham, including Padbury Brook. No further rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 18/01/2021 or as the situation changes.
