for Flood alert in force now Sutton Gault Causeway in Cambridgeshire

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels have risen at the Sutton Gault river gauge as a result of persistent rainfall in the upper catchment. This information is correct as of 07:00 on Wednesday 19 February. The causeway at Sutton Gault has approximately 33 centimetres of water on the road. Due to the uneven surface of the roads, water may be deeper in places. We are closely monitoring the situation and are liaising with Cambridgeshire Highways who will decide whether to close the road. This alert applies to SUTTON GAULT CAUSEWAY ONLY. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 16:00 on Wednesday 19 February or as the situation changes.
