Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now River Rhee in Central Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels remain high, but have started to fall, at the Wimpole river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland remains possible tonight, Friday 15 January and into tomorrow, Saturday 16 January. We expect flooding to affect the River Rhee from Guilden Morden to Haslingfield. Further rainfall is forecast for tomorrow morning, Saturday 16 January. We expect river levels to remain high tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, Saturday 16 January, or as the situation changes.
