Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now River Nar in Norfolk

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels remain high at the Marham river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible. We expect flooding to affect the River Nar from Litcham to South Lynn. Further rainfall is forecast on Wednesday 20 January, and we expect river levels to rise further as a result of this further rain. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, Wednesday 20 January, or as the situation changes.
