Flooding is possible - be prepared
River levels remain high as a result of persistent heavy rainfall but are beginning to fall at the Newport Pagnell Cemetery river gauge. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing. We expect flooding to affect the River Great Ouse from Newport Pagnell to Roxton. No further rainfall is forecast. River levels have peaked and will remain steady, with no further rise forecasted. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 17/10/19 , or as the situation changes.
