Flooding is possible - be prepared
This information is correct as of 4pm on 23rd January 2018. The causeway at Sutton Gault has approximately 15cm centimetres of water on the road. There are currently no issues on Earith or Welney Causeway. Due to the uneven surface of the roads, water may be deeper in places. This message has been issued due to the heavy rain experienced on Sunday 21st January. Locations most at risk are Hundred Foot Washes, also known as the Ouse Washes, including the causeways at Earith, Sutton Gault and Welney. The Environment Agency are monitoring river levels and have staff in the field checking for and clearing blockages.
