Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now River Granta in Essex and Cambridgeshire

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels are falling but remain high at the Linton river gauge as a result of rainfall on Saturday 16th January. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is still possible. We expect flooding to affect the River Granta from Linton to Babraham. No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 18/01/2021 or as the situation changes.
