Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood alert in force now Alconbury Brook and Ellington Brook in Cambridgeshire

Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels remain high, but continue to fall at the Hamerton river gauge following recent rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect Alconbury Brook and Ellington Brook. No further rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to continue to fall throughout today, Sunday 17 January. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated tomorrow, Monday 18th January, or as the situation changes.
