Flooding is possible - be prepared
Levels are high and steady in the Lower River Soar, due to rainfall and melting snow in the last 48 hours. Levels will continue to remain high overnight and may affect Slash Lane at Sileby and the Mountsorrel to Sileby Road. We urge residents to prepare, remain vigilant and avoid walking and driving through flood water. We are closely monitoring the situation. We will endeavour to update this message on Friday morning or if the situation changes.
