for Flood alert in force now Ryton Oldcotes catchment
Flooding is possible - be prepared
River levels are rising at the Worksop and Blyth river gauges as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Flooding of roads and farmland is possible. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Priorswell Road, Central Avenue, Steeley Lane at Worksop, Snape Lane at Serlby, Mill Lane and Great North Road at Scrooby. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated daily at 19:00, or as the situation changes
