Flooding is possible - be prepared

Flooding is possible over high tide tomorrow morning, Saturday 21st October. High tide at Sharpness is at 9.45am local time, times of high tide vary along the coast. Tides may be 1.6 metres higher than predicted due to weather conditions. People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast. We will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates as required. Detailed tidal information; the forecast high tide level this evening at Sharpness is 9.3 mAOD at 21.24pm. The forecast high tide level at Sharpness Saturday morning, is 9.9 mAOD, 0.9 metres above astronomical tide level. Tides may be 1.6 metres higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Larger impacts are expected on Saturday with larger waves and stronger winds forecast
