Flooding is possible - be prepared
River levels remain high at the Brimscombe river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Flooding of roads and farmland continues. Flooding may be affecting low lying land and roads adjacent to the river. Locations that may be affected include Chalford and Leonard Stanley. The forecast is unsettled for the next few days, which may cause river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 2am on Wednesday 26/02/20, or as the situation changes.
