Flooding is possible - be prepared

River levels remain high at the Bredon river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently flooding may continue to affect roads and farmland. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Avon from Abbotts Salford to Tewkesbury. Other locations that may be affected include Offenham, Evesham and Twyning. River levels have peaked at the Bredon river gauge and will remain high over the next few days. Scattered showers are expected over the next 24 hours with further prolonged rainfall forecast from midday on Wednesday, 19/02/20. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 3am on Wednesday, 19/02/20, or as the situation changes.
