for Flood warning in force now River Teme at Knightwick, Doddenham and Broadwas

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

River levels are rising slowly at the Knightsford Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is still possible. Flooding is affecting Knightwick, Doddenham and Broadwas areas. Predicted peak: 5.4m to 5.6m on Saturday morning, 16/11/19. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the weekend. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying roads and footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 1pm on 15/11/19, or as the situation changes.
