for Flood warning in force now River Severn at Ashleworth

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

River levels are forecast to rise further at the Haw Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Ashleworth and Apperley and the Leigh. Predicted peak at Haw Bridge 5.1m to 5.3m on Monday morning, 25/01/21 No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours, but we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 10am on Monday, 25/01/21, or as the situation changes.
