Coronavirus (COVID-19): how we're protecting our flood warning service

for Flood warning in force now River Severn at Apperley and The Leigh

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

River levels remain high at the Haw Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property and farmland continues. Flooding is affecting Gabb Lane at Apperley and local caravan parks. Predicted Peak at Haw Bridge: 5.1 to 5.3m overnight tonight into Monday, 25/01/21. No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours, but we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. This message will be updated by 11am on Monday 25/01/21, or as the situation changes.
