for Flood warning in force now River Severn at Chaceley and Haw Bridge

Flooding is expected - immediate action required

River levels remain high at the Haw Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected over the next few days. Flooding may affect properties, roads and farmland in and around Chaceley and Haw Bridge, including the B4123. Predicted Peak:- Haw Bridge 4.9 to 5.1m Saturday 16/11/19 overnight into Sunday 17/11/19. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defenses. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 6am Friday 15/11/2019, or as the situation changes.
