Flooding is expected - immediate action required
River levels have risen at the Bridgnorth river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible from 6:00 tomorrow, 17/02/20. Flooding may affect properties and roads in and around Upper Arley. Predicted Peak at Bridgnorth 4.6m to 4.9m Tuesday evening. Further showers are forecast over the next 72 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 09:00 on Tuesday 16/02/20, or as the situation changes.
