Flooding is expected - immediate action required
River levels remain high at the Lugwardine river gauge and a large amount of water remains on the flood plain. Low lying land and roads may still be affected. Further rainfall is forecast for the next 48 hours, which may cause river levels to rise again. Predicted peak at the Lugwardine river gauge is between 2.75 and 2.85m for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers. This message will be updated by 10am on Monday, 24/02/20, or as the situation changes.
