Flooding is expected - immediate action required
River levels are high but steady at the Bredon river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland continues. Flooding may affect properties and roads in the Strensham and the Dock Lane area of Bredon. At the Bredon river gauge, levels are currently peaking between 2.9 and 2.95m. River levels at the Evesham gauge are falling slowly. Further rainfall is forecast on Friday and Saturday, which may cause river levels to rise again. We are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated by 10am on Friday, 28/02/20, or as the situation changes.
