Flooding is possible - be prepared

The high tide on Friday lunch time is expected to be higher than usual on the Mersey Estuary. Consequently flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is expected between 11:45 and 14:30, Friday 22nd March 2019. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land in the following places: Hale Village between 12:15 and 12:45, peak levels 6.2m. Flood alerts / warnings may also be required for subsequent high tides over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths. This message will be updated after the high tide on Friday 22nd March 2019.
