Flooding is possible - be prepared
Heavy rain and strong winds are expected across parts of Lancashire on Wednesday evening before gradually easing overnight. The rain will clear eastwards during the early hours of Thursday morning. There remains some uncertainty with regards to the exact location of the heaviest rain. River levels have risen slightly throughout today and will rise again this evening as further rain falls. River levels are expected to peak later on Thursday morning. We will continue to monitor the situation.
